Wow! The Great Alone is a well crafted story of the author's 2600 mile hike along the Pacific Crest Trail. Tim Voors gives the readers insight into all aspects of Trail life from the technical, such as gear and packing lists; to the personal and spiritual side of trail family, relationships, and his own inner discoveries.The book is well written, insightful and humorous. It is also beautifully put together with full page color photos and the author's own drawings and paintings that he did along the trail. As a person who has done a long hike or two, I highly recommend The Great Alone!
